With physical documents and people grounded by recent chaos in air transport, the remote printing and electronic distribution of documents has taken off. As an international print and document service hub with presence in more than 40 countries from which documents can be received electronically and then printed and distributed locally in any part of the world, Service Point has seen an important interest in its services of high quality Areas which have increased the requests have been the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Norway, France and Germany, countries where the most damage is causing the closure of its air space. In particular, orders have increased by 150%
"We're getting a lot of slightly panicked calls these last days. We can get a PDF sent to our offices in London and immediately start printing a 25,000 document run in Shanghai " says Juan Jose Nieto, President of Service Point. "Companies with documents and people stuck in Europe know this, and are increasingly calling us. In many cases these are important documents which are vital for clients' business."
Service Point knew that global distribution of documents was the right way to go in a globalised world, and developed its Globalgrafixnet capability very early on. With a mix of proprietary production centres, and local agreements with quality-focused partners, companies can use a print and document to hub to deliver documents to any part of the world - without the documents ever getting near the cargo hull of a plane. In order to help companies to remotely deliver documents on time Service Point is offering a 25% discount valid for the next three months.
Service Point Solutions, is aiming at having over 30% of its revenues coming via the B2B e-commerce Channel in the coming three years. According to Mr. Juan Jose Nieto, Chairman of Service Point Solutions; "E-commerce channel is critical in transforming the organization migrating from print service provider to total service provider of information. Increased business through e-commerce channel will boost our income in the short and medium term".
